We planned to meet the Romeo's as they finished the last leg of their Diagonal Journey across Ohio. Starting in Cincinnati, they rode 5 days with the final day from Millersburg to Akron via Canal Fulton and the Ohio Tow Path. Steve and I joined them for lunch and then pedaled back to the Crystal Springs Bridge, returning on the opposite side of the Tuscarawas River - the Old Muskingum Trail. Beautiful day for a lovely promenade on bikes.

WE parked in the Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve Information Center. Ten ROMEOS and one JULIET started biking through Huron towards Sandusky for lunch at the Better Half(!) on a ride that Jim Wagnitz organized. Steve and Susan on tandem along with Don Darko did 32 miles total and the other eight completed 42 miles total. Great day's ride along Route 2 which follows Lake Erie, often with views just a block away from the lake.
